Windows Virtual Machine Support

Gallium provides support for Windows Virtual Machines and Templates, with tested compatibility including Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2022, Windows 10, and Windows 11.

Key Features​

PowerShell Provisioning: The platform allows administrators to execute PowerShell scripts during VM creation, enabling configuration automation and installation of remote management tools.

Image Availability Requirements​

Due to Microsoft licensing constraints, Windows image distribution requires appropriate licensing. Access varies by customer type:

  • Commercial Users — Those with commercial licenses can upload Windows media and license keys. Gallium's image-build system maintains current templates ready for deployment.

  • Evaluation Customers — Prospective users are encouraged to contact support directly.

  • Community Edition Users — These customers must manually upload their own Windows images into templates.
