Gallium supports Windows Virtual Machines and Templates. Tested editions include:
Windows Server 2019
Windows Server 2022
Windows 10
Windows 11
Windows Features
PowerShell Provisioning
Gallium supports passing a PowerShell script to a new Virtual Machine upon creation. This allows for the configuration of common settings and installation of remote management tools (RMMs).
Windows Image Availability
Due to Microsoft licensing requirements we are unable to distribute Windows Images independent of an applicable license. Therefore the steps required to access Windows Templates vary depending on customer type.
Commercial Users
Users with commercial Gallium licenses can upload their Windows Media and License Key. The Gallium image-build system will then maintain an up-to-date Template ready for deployment to any hypervisor.
Evaluation Customers
Prospective customers using Gallium for evaluation purposes are encouraged to reach out directly to our support team.
Community Edition Users
For our users operating with Community Edition licenses, a slight manual approach is needed. Users are required to upload their own Windows image into templates.
