Switching Between Organizations
If you belong to more than one organization, you can move between them at any time without signing out. The organization you are currently working in is shown at the top of the left sidebar, and it is also reflected in the Gallium Console URL: the first path segment is the organization's short name. That makes it easy to tell, at a glance, which organization a page or a shared link belongs to.
Switching from the Sidebar
When you are already signed in, the quickest way to change organizations is from the left sidebar. The sidebar keeps your session active, so you move straight into the other organization without re-authenticating.
- At the top of the left sidebar, under the Organizations heading, click the item that shows your current organization's name.
- The Switch Organization window opens and lists every organization you can access, each shown with its name and short name. Your current organization is highlighted and cannot be selected.
- Click a different organization. The Console reloads and opens that organization's Deployments page.
Switching organizations reloads the Console and takes you to the new organization's Deployments page. Any unsaved changes on the current page are not carried over.
Choosing an Organization After You Sign In
Sometimes Gallium asks you to pick an organization before it can show you any content. This happens right after you sign in, or when you open a link for an organization your current session is not signed in to. In those cases Gallium shows a full-page Select Organization screen, with the subtitle Choose an organization to continue to the Gallium console. Pick one to continue into the Console.
If your account has no accessible organizations, the screen shows No organizations available instead. The screen also includes a Need access to a different organization? prompt with a Log out button, so you can sign out and sign back in with a different account if you need to reach an organization this one cannot.
